Giving

Saint Paul is supported by generous donors who give freely of their time, talent and treasure to keep our historic congregation alive with the light of Christ.

Pledging & Ways To Give

Pledging is a statement of faith. Faith in God, faith in our parish and in our personal ability and free will to make faith based decisions. Pledging reflects our belief that the good God does for us as individuals, as a church family and as a broader community.

Pledging allows you to make thoughtful and intentional faith-based decisions about your financial giving. When you plan ahead, you’re making conscious choices about spending your money in ways that reflect your faith and values.

Ways to give

Annual giving – envelopes for weekly donations can be picked up in the office

Saint Paul's Parishioners enjoy An Evening at Garth

Fundraisers

Although no church should rely on its operating budget to come from fundraising, as a small parish we do expect expenses like property repairs, updates to equipment, and special needs to come from this source.

  • Strawberry Festival during the Thunder on the River Car Show
  • Making and Selling Peanut Butter Eggs during Lent
  • Christmas Cookie Sale
  • Concessions Stands at community events like the Halloween Parade and Albatwitch Festival

Major Fundraising Event

November 4, 2023 - An Evening at Garth

This benefit is to raise money for the Building Fund. In our inaugural event in 2021, we raised over $7000 during this event that went towards restoring the church building roof, a $53,000 project that was completed in the spring of this year. In 2022, proceeds were used to paint and restore the interior of the Sanctuary that sustained damage from the roof leakage.

Our event includes lite fare, refreshments and live music, but the main focus is a silent auction. We contact businesses and individuals to donate an item(s) or experience(s) for our auction. Our congregation attends, along with the community to help with this important source of income.
